Splitting ML021 Bulk Sets into ML005 Individual Sets

Our exclusive ML021 Quercetti Bulk Magnetic Letter sets are an easy way to get lots of magnetic letters from Resources for Reading at an even lower price than our already discounted price!

Each bulk set contains 240 lower case letters, the equivalent of 6 ML005 Lower Case sets of 40 letters. Because the letters are still joined in the plastic "trees" (like model airplane parts), it's easy to divide the letters into 6 sets in just seconds.

The ML021 set actually contains 288 letters, so there are 48 extra letters beyond what is contained in just 6 ML005 sets. You will end up with 48 bonus letters which can not be divided evenly six ways. Just use them as spares, because magnetic letters sometimes have a way of "walking away!" We do not count those 48 letters when we say the ML021 set contains 240 letters -- they are free extra bonus letters.

There are six or more of each tree in the ML021 Bulk Set. The boxed ML005 set contains one of each tree, a total of 40 letters as listed below:

• Tree 1 contains: s, e, m, r, c, l, a, o
• Tree 2 also contains: s, e, m, r, c, l, a, o -- but in a different color
• Tree 3 contains: q, i, k, x, e, b, t, n
• Tree 4 contains: n, y, b, i, g, f, v, t
• Tree 5 contains: u, z, h, w, d, i, j, p

To divide into six sets, simply take one of each of the 5 different trees of letters to make each ML005 set. It's fast and easy!

The colors may vary, so be sure to look at the letters, and not the colors! Select one each of those five trees for each ML005 set, and each ML005 set will contain 40 letters just as if you purchased each set separately in a box.

NOTE: after making 6 ML005 sets, you will have 6 extra trees left over. You will probably have 2 extras of Tree 1, 2 extras of Tree 3, and 2 extras of Tree 4, but sometimes the extra letters are different. Just remember that the extras are free bonus letters, and you can use them as extras or as replacements for lost letters as you choose.
